Welcome to TheShow.OOTPLeagues.Com
TheShow is a premiere online baseball simulation league, utilizing the baseball simulation game, Out of the Park Baseball 9. This league has a comprehensive incentive point plan, as well as program to punish teams for improper management. TheShow's front office consists of the Commissioner and 3 Assistants. The league has been around for more than 18 seasons now.
TheShow's Commissioner has provided an elaborate website stock full of tools and resources to make managing in this league enjoyable and simple. This website has many features that cannot be found on any other league's site. TheShow also uses AOL's instant messenger as a communication too, as well as the website's built-in Forums and Private Messaging. A listing of all of the GM's contact information can be found on in the GM List module and also can be found in the popup-statistics by moving your mouse over the team logos at the top of the website.
TheShow simulates one week of the schedule 3 nights a week. This allows for two month of the schedule to go by about every 2 weeks. The games are simmed by the Commissioner at 10 PM (ET) on Sunday night, Tuesday night, and Thursday night. Exports are due before the sim time. The sim schedule is posted on the front page of the website.

- Activate your account (be sure to check your junk/spam email folders for the activation email).
- Post a message in the Wait List forum thread with the following information:
- Full name:
- City/State/(Country)
- AOL Screenname
- Email address
- Years of OOTP experience
- Which team you are interested in (if none are posted, just say Next Available and you will be emailed once vacancy is known).
- Wait to hear back from one of the league officials to see if you are in.

TheShow's Reset
TheShow is currently going through a reset of files after having run some 18 seasons previously spanning from OOTP Versions 4 through 8. Due to the complications that came from the multiple upgrades and other items that were causing the files to become damaged and/or unrealistic. So it was determined that a reset was needed as well as an upgrade to OOTP9.
So here we are. Please bare with us as we continue this migration. There will be several portions of the website that will drop off for a bit then come back with the updated information, and some items that will show incorrectly until I can get in and resolve them. Most noticable is at the top of the page.
I need to redo my logo image at the top of the site to reflect that we now use OOTP9 and NOT OOTP 2007/8. The popup statistics under each team logo and the images need updated as well. I will be working on them early in the week of 15Feb09.
The new files have not been published as of 13Feb09. I am doing some final testing to ensure the integrity of the files before posting. I can, however, state that the tests are going great. I am not seeing the insane amount of injuries that others were experiencing, nor am I having the crashes that others were seeing.
So again, please bare with us as we continue the migration, and we will be back simming real soon! For all potential GM's, please make sure that you do the following to be granted access to the league:
