He racked up a .600 average and was voted the Player of the Week. Over the last week Wolfe plastered 15 hits in 25 at-bats and no home runs, drove in 7 runs and scored 5 times.
This season Wolfe has banged out 140 hits in 468 at-bats for a .299 average with 2 home runs. He is getting on base at a .350 pace and his totals also include 48 RBIs and 61 runs scored. |  | Wednesday, July 21st, 2021: Ramos 5-5 for Tides 5 hits in a game doesn't happen every day. Norfolk's Ramón Ramos had a very special day against the Chiefs when everything came together for him and he did just that -- collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats -- and led the Norfolk Tides to a 13-2 win at Tides Ballpark.
"I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Ramos said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em."
R. Ramos hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit a two-run single in the 3rd, hit a two-run double in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
This year Ramos has socked 24 hits in 72 at-bats for a .333 average with 1 home run. He is getting on base at a .422 pace and his totals also include 11 RBIs and 13 runs scored. |  | Monday, June 14th, 2021: 5-Hit Game for Echevarría! Carlos Echevarría told the press after his 5-hit day, "Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate. He wants to hit the ball hard."
Well, that's just what Echevarría of the Norfolk Tides did against the Louisville Bats. He went to the plate 5 times and 5 times he delivered base hits, But his club still suffered a 11-10 defeat.
"Not much I can say," offered Echevarría in the SION postgame press conference. "I got a bunch of hits, but it would have been much better to get a win. Can I trade 5 hits for the win?"
C. Echevarría singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
