Bob Webb did it 3 times in the Norfolk 12-10 victory over the Pawtucket Red Sox.
3 home runs in one game!
"I was in a groove," he said, "and every pitch they tossed up there looked like a grapefruit."
Commenting after the game to the press, the elated Webb explained, "I tell you what, I was so shocked because I didn't think the last ball had enough to get out. I thought it was just going to be a long out."
For the day the Norfolk third baseman went 3-4 against Pawtucket with 4 RBIs and 3 runs scored in a brilliant display of power hitting.
B. Webb hit a solo-shot off M. Torres in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off J. Unknown in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off J. Unknown in the 8th.

 | Wednesday, June 24th, 2020: Norfolk Helpless Against Guerra
Julian Guerra of the Durham Bulls was on fire against Norfolk. He shut them down 3-0 on 2 hits and no runs with 8 strikeouts and 1 walk.
"The first two pitches I'm looking for an out, a ground ball or a fly ball," Guerra said. "I'm trying to get quick outs. I've never been a big believer in trying to strike a guy out from the very first pitch. It's too easy to end up behind in the count doing that."
To date in 2020, Guerra sports a 6-4 mark with a 4.87 ERA in 14 starting assignments. He has held the opposition to a .242 batting average and has 64 strikeouts in 85 innings.

 | Tuesday, April 28th, 2020: Bad News for Norfolk, Dugger Hurt
James Dugger of the Norfolk Tides was injured in today's game against Scranton/Wilkes-Barre and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is a strained bicep muscle, and he is expected to be out for up to 3 weeks. It happened while Dugger was throwing a pitch. "It hurt a lot, to be honest. I just hope it heals soon and I can get back on the field."
This season Dugger has chalked up a 3.21 ERA while ringing up 1 save with 1 win and 1 loss. He has made 9 relief appearances, pitching 14 innings, giving up 14 hits and holding opponents to a .246 batting average. Dugger has also recorded 10 strikeouts and allowed 7 walks.
