The Arizona starter tamed the Cincinnati Reds 3-0 with a 4-hit shutout, finishing the game with 2 strikeouts and no walks in a sharp outing.
"I enjoy facing a team like that where I can get an out on one, two or three pitches," Honel said. "It gives me a chance to be a lot more aggressive."

Upon learning of their diagnosis, the Arizona manager told the press, "As you all know, we can't control injuries--they are a part of the game. We just have to do the best we can until Michael is back in action."
