He certainly had their number at the plate in this record-making 5-7 performance.
The sweet swinging right fielder told reporters, "Each time I went to the plate, I was thinking about hitting the ball hard somewhere. When I focus on that, I usually have quality at-bats."
The skipper of the Astros wailed to the press, "Too much plate. Not the way we planned it. Any hitter in the league will rip you when you do that."
B. Pineda hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, grounded out in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and struck out in the 9th.

"Hopefully I don't get replaced by some hotshot wannabe," said Grandal with a smile as he talked to SION reporters.
So far this season Grandal has gotten 191 hits in 592 at-bats for a .323 batting average with 36 home runs. His stats include 126 RBIs and 109 runs scored.
