| Breaking News |  | Thursday, May 27th, 2021: Murawski Shuts Out Bees A masterful pitching performance carried the New Orleans Zephyrs to a 3-0 victory over Salt Lake. Andrew Murawski held them scoreless in a complete game effort. He permitted 5 hits, had 6 strikeouts and allowed no walks.
The skipper of the Bees said, "Murawski was sharp. We never did figure him out."
This year Murawski has made 11 starts, thrown 69.2 innings, fanned 54 batters and walked 22. His won-lost record is 5-3 with a 4.52 ERA. |  | Saturday, May 22nd, 2021: Clark 5-5 for Iowa Today the Cubs downed the Bees 11-9 as Henry Clark sprayed hits all over Ballpark of Iowa in a 5-hit explosion, finishing up with 5 hits in 5 at-bats.
The Iowa first baseman said to SION reporters in the postgame interview, "It makes it easier if you get a good pitch. The odds are in your favor then, not the pitcher's. I got a bunch of very pretty pitches to hit today, and I didn't miss any of them."
H. Clark hit a two-run double in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off R. Graham in the 8th.
This year Clark is hitting at a .327 pace with 6 home runs and 46 RBIs. He has played in 49 games and scored 26 times. |  | Tuesday, May 11th, 2021: Hosmer Goes 6-7 It was a sensational day at the plate for Eric Hosmer as he led the charge to a 25-5 win over the Bees.
The Albuquerque second baseman was pure misery for the Salt Lake pitching staff. He left them shellshocked with 6 hits in 7 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting.
The manager for the Bees told SION reporters after the game, "Hosmer put the ball into play. He really hit it hard. When you do that, you've got a pretty good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some pretty good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball."
E. Hosmer singled in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off J. Unknown in the 7th, hit an RBI double in the 8th, singled in the 8th and hit a three-run home run off R. Robinson in the 9th.
