"In every one of his at-bats things were in his favor...he got hitter's counts," the skipper of the Redbirds said to the press corps after the game.
Harper agreed. "The key is getting ahead. Once you get ahead, it makes it a lot easier because you get a better pitch to hit. You know the pitcher has to come in with it. And you're ready."
