Breaking News Friday, June 4th, 2021: Injury Forces Julio Sojo Out Seattle fans held their breath as Julio Sojo left yesterday's Angels Of Anahiem-Mariners contest with an injury. After the game, the team's medical staff said that the 36-year-old shortstop had suffered a strained achilles tendon while running the bases. It's estimated that he will be out 2 weeks. In 2021, Sojo is hitting .321 with 2 home runs and 19 RBIs in 56 games played. He also boasts an OBP of .380 with 18 walks and 39 runs scored. Thursday, May 27th, 2021: Alderson Tames Mariners In a sharp 6-hit performance, Tim Alderson tossed the Los Angeles (N) Dodgers to a 8-0 shutout victory over the Seattle Mariners, fanning 3 and walking 1.
