The Angels Of Anahiem manager was philosophical after his team was shut out by the Minnesota Twins 6-0.
"It was just one of those games, shake it off and do better next time," he said.
Paul Malholm blanked them on 2 hits with 1 walk and 1 strikeout.
"I kept them off balance. I could tell a lot of them were late on fastballs. They were fouling them off. Once you see that, it sets them up for other pitches," Malholm said.
"I set them up pretty good, where if they chased one breaking ball, they were going to chase another one."
This year-to-date Malholm has 12 wins and 10 losses and a 3.64 ERA. |

The Angels Of Anahiem received bad news this morning. Jorge Del La Rosa will miss 2 weeks due to a tender shoulder. In the Los Angeles (A)-New York (A) game he sustained the injury while throwing a pitch. "I'm disappointed more than anything," he told reporters later in the day. "You can't help your team on the bench," Del La Rosa sighed. "I'll do the rehab work and hope for a quick recovery."
This year Del La Rosa has 7 saves with a 0-5 won-lost mark and 5.68 ERA.
