The AZL shortstop battered the opposition for 11 hits in 23 at-bats, no home runs, 4 RBIs and scored 3 runs. He hit .478 and posted a .478 on-base percentage.
Currently Chapman has 2 home runs and a .308 batting average. |  | MacMenzies Hot, Rangers Cold Saturday, August 18th, 2012: The AZL Rangers struggled at the plate today against Padres hurler Warner MacMenzies, who shackled them on 3 hits while hurling a complete game 1-0 shutout.
"What can you say? We didn't hit well," said the Rangers skipper in his postgame comments.
"Hopefully we shake this off and bounce back tomorrow."
MacMenzies finished the game with 5 strikeouts and no walks in an excellent mound performance.
"He pitched real well," his manager said. "Warner made pitches when he had to. He hit his spots and did a great job of mixing in his changeup and using his fastball effectively."
